Course Description :

The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Intended Audience :

This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

The AHA BLS Renewal Course is for individuals who have a current BLS Provider Card, or whose card has expired within 30 days of the scheduled class. You will be required to send a copy of your card prior to the class. If you have lost access to your eCard, we can help! Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your eCard.

Course Description:

HeartCode® BLS Online is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who need Basic Life Support training for their clinical duties. HeartCode® BLS Online consists of a cognitive portion that is completed online. The hands-on skills session is conducted after successful completion of the HeartCode online BLS course. This course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. Typical students include paramedics, nurses, and physicians.

The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills. Course Description:

The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course covers Adult, Child, and Infant CPR AED.

This includes an option to take STOP THE BLEED after completion of the CPR class. (Approx. 1.5 hours)

*This course does not include First Aid

Certification: 2 years, eCard will be emailed within 1 business day.

Format: Instructor-Led Training (ILT) in a classroom setting.

The Heartsaver Total course path of the Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by one of our Instructors. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session, will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.

Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid, CPR, and use of an AED. This course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community. This a comprehensive course path is designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements.

This course covers Adult First Aid, and Adult, Child, and Infant CPR AED.

Format: Blended Learning - Online Coursework + In-Person Skills

HSI's Bloodborne Pathogens training program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. This bloodborne pathogens certification course assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).
